Sport Hub lessons are available year-round with new programs added regularly. Continue to check back often to find a program that’s right for you.

Free lessons funded by United Way of Calgary and Area through Planet Youth Calgary
United Way Calgary and Area's initiative, Planet Youth Calgary, supports youth well-being across the community. Through their support, free Sport Hub lessons are available for teens.

Sport Hub coaches
Sport Hub lessons are delivered by sport organizations and their experienced coaches. Coaches are:
- Experienced in teaching kids and teens
- Certified with Intermediate First Aid, CPR and AED Level C
- Required to have a valid Police Information Check
- Certified in Safe Sport training
What to expect
Kids and teens will be introduced to new sports in a fun, supportive way. These programs are designed to teach new skills and offer instruction that helps players learn and grow in a fun, non-competitive environment.
- Classes run for 45 or 60 minutes, either twice a week for four weeks or once a week for eight weeks.
- Programs take place in convenient community locations, like community halls, public courts, greenspaces and gymnasiums.

- Comfortable athletic clothing
- A water bottle
- Running shoes (please bring indoor shoes for indoor programs)
- Weather appropriate clothing for outdoor programs
- Sunscreen for outdoor programs
